Board of Education Elections are in November.  More info to follow.

Ed Joyner has asked for NHFT Support.  While our by-laws state we cannot make endorsements we are very supportive of Mr. Joyner.  He has been a friend to the union for many years.

Unfortunately the union and SAA could not reach an agreement on a redesign of the “Teacher Survey”.  The Superintendent is going forward but has suggested many changes in format and the information and data release.  The unions Ex. Bd. Has voted unanimously not to engage in this years survey.  Information will be sent out to all teachers.

HSC – The school will not be part of the Commissioners Network in 2015-16.  The Superintendent is considering many changes for next year.  The union would like to remain the operator of the Teacher led school.  A meeting with Garth and NHFT/School leadership will be held next week to hear his proposal.

E4E continues its union busting movement.  Please do not engage with this group.  They are planning to meet with Garth and the BOE.  The union is planning strong actions at the June 8th and 10th meetings.

Union is looking into better and more timely communications with membership.  Members are asked to sign on to the letter that was sent by the “Epic Forum Group”.

Adjournment  5:35 pm.
