Call to order at 4:00 pm.
Motion to accept the minutes from October 2nd and passed.
1. Grievance – Tom Burns – Barnard Step one: Movement of 16 teachers. Career – Meeting with teacher, union lawyer and Superintendent regarding involuntary transfer.
2. Finance – Pat Delucia – Requests – Elm City Bowl ad $100 passed and Food Bank - $400 Passed.
3. School Reform – Survey – Dave and Pat will attend mee4ting Wed with Chief of Staff and SAA to clearly state our position on teacher’s survey moving forward. Disputed TEVAL rating of two teachers will be brought to Superintendent for decision.
New Business – PDAC update – Discussion of ongoing P.D. for principals. Union will push to bring back CEPC as stated by contract. Stewards should be meeting with principals monthly. Discussion of the letter sent by Hillhouse teachers. E4E has been in one school -they are not allowed in school buildings per order of the Superintendent.
Motion to move to Executive Session – 2nd and passed.
Response to SAA charges from Executive Board has been sent to Superintendent, Mayor Harp, and SAA President Brown.
Review of response to Garth from Dave over Beecher issue.
Discussion of letter sent to Garth from NAACP. Union will monitor the situation with input from NHFT lawyer, Executive Board, AFT State and National.
Motion to return to public session at 5:10 pm – seconded and passed.
